Abstract

Amgen has a mission to serve patients. This shapes how we innovate, operate, and deliver. This lecture will explore how Amgen Operations has built a robust innovation ecosystem and a purpose-driven culture around “every patient every time”. Spanning Process Development, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Transformation functions, this integrated approach has enabled Amgen’s incredible track record of reliable supply— even in the face of global challenges such as natural disasters and the pandemic. Through real-world examples and strategic insights, this talk will illustrate how science, systems, and culture converge to turn a mission into practice.
