Tutoring is provided by the department for sophomore and junior 10.x subjects. The tutors are juniors and seniors in the department.

AICHE
The American Institute of Chemical Engineers is a professional organization representing nearly 60,000 chemical engineers. AIChE encourages the activities of student chapters at academic departments, and works to integrate the student members into the professional world.
At MIT, the AIChE student chapter provides a voice for undergraduates in department affairs, encourages the professional development of students, and provides seminars concerning graduate school application, job hunting, and life in industry. The chapter also organizes study breaks and student-faculty get-togethers.
The Cambridge-MIT Junior Year Exchange Program (CME)
Juniors in Chemical Engineering have the opportunity to spend Junior Year abroad, studying at Cambridge University in England. Cambridge is one of the oldest and most elite of English universities, and the Chemical Engineering Department ranks as one of the best in Europe. Studying there offers a unique cultural experience, as well as exposure to a very different style of engineering education. See the CME page for more information.
MIT Career Services
The MIT Career Services is a full-service office for students, alumni, and employers, offering career management and preprofessional advising.
Graduate Fellowships
If you are applying to graduate school, you are also encouraged to apply for graduate fellowships from organizations such as the National Science Foundation, Hertz, and the Department of Defense.
Mentoring
The MIT Alumni Association offers a Career Assistant Network, which matches MIT alumnae working in any of a large variety of careers with students interested in connecting with a mentor. Use their search form to request a match in the field that you are interested in.
Associate Advising Program
Associate Advisors provide general information to incoming Chemical Engineering students about department requirements, student organizations, careers, graduate study as well as simply helping them feel a part of the Chemical Engineering Community.
