On Monday, September 18, we will hold a symposium to celebrate Robert C. Armstrong’s fifty years of energy, education and excellence at MIT, as he steps down from his role as director of the MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI) and Chevron Professor of Chemical Engineering.
The symposium includes presentations and discussions on Professor Armstrong’s many contributions to the fields of chemical engineering and energy, and on the future of these fields. The symposium will also be a reunion of former and current students, post-docs, academic and industrial friends, and colleagues.
