PhD CEP Program: Element 4

Element 4: 1st Year of the MIT Sloan MBA

The beginning of the final year of the program marks a significant shift in emphasis. Students will join the incoming class of candidates for the MIT Sloan MBA and take the same set of core requirements, along with selected electives. Table 2 summarizes the expected subject matter of the two terms in the MIT Sloan School of Management. This set of subjects included in the first two semesters of the MBA program may change at the discretion of the MIT Sloan School. In addition to the courses listed in Table 2, PhDCEP students currently enrolled at MIT Sloan are required to take part in the “First Year Challenge”, a team project which involves working on a real business project for a sponsor company.
