Update 03/02/2026

Hey Course X community!

We need some ne-X-t level participation the 2026 QoL Survey.

TL;DR:  Search your inbox for “Please take the 2026 MIT Quality of Life Survey!” from Sally Kornbluth. Open it. Click your personalized link. You’ll be halfway done before you finish reading this email.

Can’t find it? Retrieve your link here. More info is at https://qol.mit.edu/.

Why this really matters:  More responses = better data = clearer insight into how our Course X community is doing. Your voice directly shapes that picture.

So, you need some more conte-X-t?  OK.  Your response is really important to the department and your friendly Community Committee.  ‘Why’ you say?  Well, more votes, more data, more resolution on our feelings as a community with even better anonymity for everyone.  (Don’t make us do the math here—though its like pre-10.10 stuff…)

Your committed Community Committee can consider the aggregated statistics from your collective responses that MIT releases. With these, we understand where we should dedicate our time and resources to address matters of interest or concern to some, most, or all of us.  More responses, more better, right?

Ok, still not convinced by this clear logic?  (And you got this far without going to find that link already?) If Course X tops response rates across the School of Engineering, we win bragging rights over BE, AeroAstro, etc. AND the Community Committee will sponsor an e-X-cellent, community-wide event to celebrate. It will be SWEET, hint hint.

Search your email for this subject “Please take the 2026 MIT Quality of Life Survey!” from President Kornbluth.  And go clicky-clicky on that personalized link to help us reach our goal! If you can’t find the email, you can retrieve your link here. Go to https://qol.mit.edu/ for more information.

(Told you it would have been faster to just find it earlier…you would already be half done with the survey by now.)

Stop scrolling. Start the survey.  Your voice matters here 🙂
