Heather Kulik earns two honors

September 15, 2023

Professor Heather Kulik has received the AIChE CoMSEF (Computational and Molecular Simulation and Engineering Forum) Impact Award, which recognizes one person, within 15 years of their highest degree, for their outstanding research in computational molecular science and engineering each year. This highly competitive award represents the top computational chemists in the field, and the honor will be presented at the 2023 AIChE meeting, where Heather will give a talk at the CoMSEF plenary session.

Kulik has also been awarded the Hans-Fischer Senior Fellowship from the Technical University of Munich. TUM Institute of Advanced Studies seeks to promote research in fields ranging from natural and applied sciences, life sciences and medicine to all areas of engineering, many of which are strongly influenced by modern science. TUM-IAS awards Fellowships to distinguished researchers and gives them the necessary time and financial support to explore new venues, to develop novel research areas, especially at the border between classical disciplines, and to establish intensive international collaborations as well as collaborations with industry.
