Daniel I.C. Wang Memorial Symposium on the Frontiers of Biotechnology

A two day symposium to honor the work and legacy of Institute Professor Daniel I.C. Wang

November 4-5, 2021

Join us:
Livestream
In-person at MIT Media Lab (75 Amherst Street, 6th Floor)

[Registration is required for in-person attendance]
The registration period is now closed.

Access to the Media Lab

In order to gain access to the Media Lab (building E14) for the Wang Lecture, all registered attendees of the in-person event will need to register through MIT’s “Tim Tickets” system using this link.

You will be asked for contact information in case there is a need for contact tracing, and on the morning of the event, you will receive a prompt to complete a brief health attestation. This information is shared with MIT Medical only in case there is a need to contact workshop participants.
*The attestation needs to be completed at least 30 minutes prior to your arrival on campus to allow for your access to be granted through the system.

Once in the system, Tim Tickets will allow you to do two important things:

  1. We will use this to check you into the event both days for contact tracing purposes.
  2. Once your daily attestation is complete, this will create an electronic “Tim Ticket” which will allow you to scan your phone to access MIT buildings.  If you are using a laptop computer to fill out the form, please print the ticket before leaving home for the easiest access

We appreciate your attention to this process.  If you encounter any difficulties and need assistance, please plan to arrive a few minutes early, as we will have staff on-site in the Media Lab lobby who can help you with your registration.
