Postdoctoral Positions

  • The Center for Engineering in Medicine is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to our work on whole organ preservation for the purpose of transplantation. There are two positions available in parallel projects. A background in cryobiology, drug delivery, nanotechnology, or biomaterials, as well as metabolomics. are examples of highly desirable skills. Experience with perfusion technology, live animal handling, cell culture, and molecular assays are also desirable.   • The Center for Engineering in Medicine is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow for its Liver Tissue Engineering project. Desired experience includes tissue engineering (biomaterials, scaffold fabrication, bioreactor systems, etc.), pluripotent stem cell culture and differentiation, preferably human origin, standard molecular biology techniques (RNA extraction, qPCR, Western blotting), familiarity with antibody based techniques (immunocytochemistry, ELISA, etc.). Candidates with experience with extracellular matrix biology research are strongly encouraged to apply.
